WW II German Höhenruder Gewichtausgleich - ELEVATOR COUNTER WEIGHT - Ju87 Stuka

You are bidding on a VERY NICE relic example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe Höhenruder Gewichtausgleich (Elevator Balance Weight), 87-325, as recovered from the wreck of a Ju87 D-1 "Stuka" Dive Bomber, W. Nr. 2442 from StG.2!
I will provide further loss information to the winning bidder.
This elevator counterweight was located at each tip of the elevator to evenly balance the forward weight to match the rear.
It was used on all all models of the Ju87 aircraft.
Made of iron, aluminum, and steel, this elevator balance weight is an SOLID example!
Though it has some slight dirts, dents, and damage, it still retains much of the original camouflage paint!
It still retains part of the original data plate (though corroded), indicating the part numbers!  Could be cleaned up quite well for display.
The last photo indicates the exact location...in this case it is from the starboard side elevator.
A VERY RARE item, it would make a FANTASTIC addition to any collection, display, or restoration project!
