Vintage TAYLOR ROAST MEAT THERMOMETER w/ skewer, #5936, in original box.
6 ½” long.
The purpose of the skewer was to punch a hole in the meat and then insert the thermometer.
We came across this in storage when cleaning a relative’s home.
I cannot say if it was used or not.
Untested.
Lots of instructions in the bottom and top of the box.
Wear to the box consistent with age.
Sold as pictured.
