Vintage Philco Brown Bakelite Tube Radio Model 51 –930. I

Powers Up
but I can
barely
get
words or a station tuned in. But over here
if I
turn
the dial all the
way extreme
left I
do get
jumbled words.
I’m sure it has something to do with an antenna. The radio is in excellent visual condition except for it has a pretty large piece taken out of The top
which I repaired with gorilla glue. The on off switch is missing its brass color cap.Power switch works and the tuner knob works
only halfway to 90 but I’m sure that’s just an adjustment.
It measures approximately 13“ x 8 1/2“ x 8 1/2“. It has a very cool art deco look to it. But unfortunately it is sold in as is condition with no guarantees. Everything indicated in photographs. Thanks for taking a look!
