Vintage card of vintage metal buttons buttons--NYC and FD (Fire department)

Description

A card with nine metal buttons. Metal shanks (loops-eye) on each. Two sizes --see photos. Eight of them are silver metal with incised FD (Fire Department) and wreaths around edge.
The gold ones are possibly brass and say NYC-likely from a policeman's uniform or other city worker.
They came from an estate and I have not taken them off the card. They appear to be in very good vintage condition.
I do not know much about buttons but thought these were very handsome buttons.
