    Description

This is an original Vietnam era brochure on how to display and respect the American Flag issued by the U.S. Navy Recruiting Service.   This brochure is a single piece with four panels printed both sides that folds open into a large poster measuring about 22” x 18”.    The front cover panel reads:
How to Display and Respect The Flag of the United States – U.S. Navy Recruiting Service
The poster side is titled Rules For Display The Flag Of The United States and is illustrated with several examples of proper flag etiquette.  The verso is printed with cover panels and a section titled Rules For Governing The National Flag And United States Navy Flags.  The back cover panel is printed with the document code 1960 O-546211 which I take to indicate a 1960 publication date.
This brochure is a vintage original used by the U.S. Navy for recruiting purposes during the early part of the Vietnam War era.  This brochure is unused and in excellent, near mint condition.  Email any questions.  Thanks for looking.
