  • Condition: The bowl is in very good condition with no dings or dents. There are some very tiny nicks along the edge of the bowl only. Tough to see without any magnification, scratches only. The bowl is 7 1/2 inches wide by 7/8 of an inch tall. Bowl opening is about 6 inches.

    Description

    This is a bowl design by Tiffany we do not see often and for some time.
    The bowl has the full Tiffany & Co hallmarks for sterling silver and
    also an ‘L’ engraved below the hallmarks. The ‘L’ indicates that the
    director of Tiffany, when the bowl was produced was William Lusk.
    Lusk was the director of Tiffany from 1955 to 1965. Certainly one
    of the cleanest line designs they offered and is of that ‘Mid Century’
    artist period. The bowl has a width of 7 1/2 inches. The bowl has
    the initial impression that it is smaller than that. However, once
    you try and lift it, you realize how substantial the bowl is by the
    weight. 10 Troy ounce is equal to 315 grams. The bowl weighs 312
    grams. No dings or dents, does have edge wear and scratches.
    Tiffany box is nice and is showing a couple spots and is very good.
