A beautiful collectible set of four U.S. postage stamps issued on October 20th, 1948 to honor Juliette Gordon Low and the Girl Scouts of America. Ms. Low organized the first Girl Guide troop in 1912 in Savannah. In 1913, the name was changed to Girl Scouts and the headquarters were moved to New York.
These stamps have never been used and are as fresh as the day they were sold at the Post Office 69 years ago! Suitable for framing, they would make a great gift to anyone interested in Girl Scout history, your favorite Scout Leader or Girl Scout!
