Antique Art Nouveau Marvelous Sterling Gorham Flower Scroll Serving Bowl

Description

Presented is a great quality, sterling silver serving bowl made by the Gorham Manufacturing Company. The sides are fluted and the flared rim is decorated with ornate, high relief flowers, leaves and scrolls. The bottom has a monogram of the initials EZL.
The underside is marked with the old Gorham hallmark, sterling and a product number. This bowl was made in the first quarter of the 1900s.
This piece is in excellent condition, the designs are crisp. There are a few minor dents, one is shown in the photographs. There are no breaks, no splits, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The bowl measures 10 7/8 by 8 7/8 inches, is 2 1/4 inches tall and weighs 446 grams or 14.3 troy ounces.
